Ci risiamo: l'azienda per la quale lavoro ha annunciato una nuova ristrutturazione. Questa volta la motivazione non è più la crisi, ma l'efficientamento della struttura per consolidare il rilancio sul mercato. Tradotto in soldoni: si parla ancora di esuberi, di persone che, più o meno volentieri, dovranno uscire dall'azienda e, probabilmente dal mercato del lavoro, considerata l'età e la qualifica.

E 'come on election day!

a good morning I went to the polling station to express my preferences in favor of candidates for the new General Council. Ho salutato e stretto la mano  una ad una le persone presenti, cercando di sdramattizzare il clima con alcune battute. L'effetto è stato di far scaturire qualche timido sorriso.

Le strette di mano ricevute erano vigorose,  prolungate e le persone scuotendo la testa  sottovoce  borbottavano parole, difficili da cogliere e da capire.

"Così non va bene, c'è bisogno di un'Associazione più vicina a noi Artigiani ! Speriamo cambi qualcosa" riuscì a capire sforzandomi  un po'.

Fatto il mio dovere e, salutato i presenti non ho fatto tempo ad allontanarmi che il telefono ha cominciato a squillare.

Era un collega che mi avvisava che stava avvenendo qualcosa di strano in una sede della bassa padovana.

Purtroppo è stata la prima di una serie di telefonate che, sostanzialmente denunciavano situazioni spiacevoli in vari seggi.

E' stata una giornata pesante, che faceva coppia con la giornata piovosa e grigia, quasi a sottolineare per want a higher, this climate of insecurity and uncertainty that has long gripped our world.

In questi ultimi due giorni ho visto cose che voi umani non immaginate nemmeno! E' una battuta ma, sintetizza bene quello che sta avvenendo in queste ultime ore prima del rinnovo. I colleghi artigiani (io compreso) si sono visti recapitare via fax, consegna a mano, via email e i più svariati sistemi, una valanga di liste di candidati con esortazione al voto con i più fantasiosi slogan.

L' invito al voto era giustificato con i più svariati e singolari appelli, in nome del rinnovamento, piuttosto che  di fantomatici gruppi di sostegno a questo o quell'altro candidato.
