La prima è che gli intellettuali e i giornali cosiddetti liberali in Italia sono strabici, e in questi anni sono riusciti a tollerare ogni sorta di sopruso ad personam: dunque ingoieranno questa repressione autoritaria del dissenso senza nemmeno ricordare quel che dicevano quando la minoranza del Manifesto fu cacciata dal Pci. La seconda ragione, è che il documento politico parla comunque chiaro, anzi chiarissimo, per oggi e per domani, fino alla parole con cui il premier rivuole indietro la presidenza della Camera, come se le istituzioni fossero cosa sua. Nessuna distinzione ideale, culturale, politica, organizzativa e soprattutto morale - dice quel testo - è possibile nel cerchio magico del berlusconismo, che giudica automaticamente "incompatibile" chi non la pensa come il leader, senza nemmeno rendersi conto dell'enormità illiberale di questa scelta. L'unica cosa che conta è l'invulnerabilità politica del Capo, anzi la sua intangibilità, nel culto sacrale dei sottoposti. Nella sua debolezza patente, spacciata per prova di forza, il Cavaliere pensa che una volta cacciato Fini il cerchio del potere tornerà a chiudersi su di lui virtuosamente come accade da quindici anni, cingendogli il capo davanti alla nazione prona e riconoscente.

Purtroppo per Berlusconi, le cose non stanno così. Questi ultimi tre mesi dimostrano che i numeri dei dissidenti sono sufficienti già oggi per farlo ballare a piacimento alla Camera, e domani al Senato. Fini ha già detto che non vuole ribaltare la maggioranza, dunque tecnicamente terrà in mano la sorte del governo ogni giorno, acquistando un rilievo evidente come attore politico e non solo come soggetto istituzionale. Ogni volta che vorrà, manderà a bagno il Cavaliere, nelle acque per lui meno salutari: la legalità, la moralità, la libertà d'informazione, l'economia, il federalismo e inevitabilmente il sistema televisivo, con il controllo totale della Rai da parte del padrone di Mediaset.

Tutto ciò, naturalmente, a condizione che il presidente della Camera sappia far politica da solo, in mare aperto, reggendo alle bastonature quotidiane che la fabbrica familiare del fango berlusconiana (sempre aperta) infliggerà a comando: con il risultato inevitabile di portare al pettine politico e parlamentare quanto prima la vergogna e la dismisura del conflitto di interessi, con buona pace dei liberali che da anni fingono di dimenticarlo. Ma Fini ha un obbligo in più: non può fermarsi, come tocca alle formazioni corsare, deve andare avanti, tessendo una politica e una cultura che se restano fedeli alla Costituzione possono essere utili alla repubblica. Vedremo se saprà farlo.

Il secondo risultato politico è una conseguenza: la rete larga di opinione, di istituzioni e di politica che ha detto no al sopruso berlusconiano rende di fatto impossibile il ricorso da parte del Cavaliere all'arma fine di mondo, le elezioni anticipate.

Indebolito nel presente, bloccato nel futuro, il premier vede andare in frantumi anche l'epopea eroica con cui racconta il suo passato. Ciò che viene meno dopo la rottura con Fini è infatti lo stesso mito fondativo, l'epica primordiale dell'uomo che con l'alito creatore dà vita alla destra, indicandole nello stesso tempo il frutto proibito del dissenso, mentre ammonisce terribile e paterno: "Non avrai altro dio all'infuori di me". Da oggi, il creatore del Pdl torna ad essere una creatura politica come le altre, mentre anche a destra comincia finalmente la stagione inedita del politeismo, che porterà per forza al rifiuto del vitello d'oro: è solo questione di tempo.

L'unica soddisfazione, misera, è per l'istinto padronale di Berlusconi, che non misura la partita in termini di politica, ma di comando. Il Capo è appunto un uomo solo al comando, circondato dai Verdini, i Dell'Utri e i Brancher, che gli devono tutto e a cui lui deve di più, come dimostra l'intreccio esoso delle servitù incrociate, all'ombra degli scandali che circondano il fortino in cui è rinchiuso il governo, senza politica. L'unica politica, l'unico collante, l'unica ragione per rimanere in piedi è ormai il federalismo, un'ideologia altrui, che Berlusconi accetta per placare Bossi: inquieto ogni volta che deve spiegare alla sua gente gli affari, i favori, le manovre segrete della P3.

È un conto alla rovescia, oggi che nel popolo berlusconiano è cominciata davvero l'ora della libertà.
